Discover Wallet Protection covers all cards in your wallet. You can visit Discover.com/Wallet, log in and list all of your cards in the online registry, or if you prefer, you can call us at 1-888-802-9639 and an account representative will take your information by phone. We will not be able to cancel any cards that are not listed in the Wallet Protection Registry.
In the event that my wallet/purse is lost or stolen, how would you know what cards to cancel on my behalf?
By registering all of your card information in the Discover Wallet Protection Registry on Discover.com/Wallet, Discover will have the information readily available when a lost or stolen event occurs. We will not be able to request cancellation of cards that are not listed in the Discover Wallet Protection Registry. When you call Discover to report the lost or stolen event, an account representative will walk through your registered cards with you and ask which cards were in your wallet/purse when it was lost or stolen. We will only cancel the cards for which you request cancellation.
Is my spouse covered under my enrollment?
Discover Wallet Protection benefits extend to joint Cardmembers as well as your spouse and your unmarried, dependent children under age 19, or under 23 if they are full-time students. You need to register their card information in the in the Discover Wallet Protection Registry on Discover.com/Wallet.
If I request emergency cash, how am I charged for it?
If your wallet has been lost or stolen, we can wire you up to $1,000 in Emergency Cash wherever you are. The cash will be treated as a Cash Advance under your Discover Cardmember Agreement, but we will waive the Cash Advance Transaction Fee.
How will I be billed for Wallet Protection?
Your Discover card account will be billed monthly or annually, depending on which billing option your select, for Discover Wallet Protection. You may choose to cancel Discover Wallet Protection at any time.
If I select annual billing but decide to cancel early, am I still charged the entire cost?
If you select annual billing and cancel prior to the end of full year, you will receive a prorated refund, credited to your Discover Card.
How do I cancel my Wallet Protection Enrollment?
You may cancel Discover Wallet Protection at any time by calling 1-888-802-9639.
